“Create a short advertisement for a utopian oxygen mask. The mask should
be designed for a future, where the oxygen share in
the air is too low to survive for a human.”
This was the task for a module at ZHdK. Thrilled by the mere thought of making an animated short movie I decided to give it a go,
despite the fact that I had never animated before. I started to draw
concepts of the oxygen mask. To make it look like a fashionable device I worked with the formal
aesthetics of a pair of smart glasses and nose piercings.
